Our hotel & residence in Portoferraio
The Crystal Hotel & Residence is just below the Walls of the Medici Fortress, perfect because it is within walking distance both of the old part of Portoferraio and also the peace and quiet of the beautiful Le Ghiaie beach, with its crystal clear water, that is a mere 60 metres away.
You can reach this white shingle beach quickly and easily by simply walking across the park opposite the Hotel. From June to September, guests from the hotel have free use of the sunbeds and sun umbrellas on the beach.
Having all the comforts and facilities within walking distance of the Crystal Hotel & Residence more or less means if you prefer you can leave your car at home.
The car park is 70 metres from the hotel complex and is free.
Both the Hotel and the Residence are the perfect solution for those who wish a relaxing holiday on an island that has a lot to offer: a truly unique and beautiful landscape, like no other within the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, as well as many very important historical and cultural traces of the past.
The reception hall in the hotel has been furnished in an "antique marine" style, making guests feel at home the moment they walk in. Right next to it, there is the reading and television room with Internet access, the hotel bar and the breakfast room . Not only, guests staying at the Crystal Hotel & Residence have complete, free use of the fully equipped room for playing billiards.
The buffet breakfast has a wide choice of hot drinks, fruit juices, fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses and cold meats, as well as many different cakes and croissants.
